Air Max Pre-Day - Pure Platinum

The Nike Air Max Pre-Day "Pure Platinum" is a blend of futuristic design and retro inspiration, making its debut on Nike's Air Max Day in March 2021. Named in honor of the late Steve Prefontaine, this low-top shoe draws influence from iconic Nike running models like the Waffle Racer, seamlessly combining them with contemporary lifestyle aesthetics. In the "Pure Platinum" colorway, a white woven material constructs the base, while Pure Platinum accents grace the toe, eyelets, and various overlays along the sides and heel counter. The mid-panel features a white leather Swoosh that extends past the heel, forming a practical pull tab at the back. Adding a vintage touch, yellow exposed foam padding is visible on the sides of the cream-colored nylon tongue. The shoe's heel boasts a visually striking Max Air unit embedded in the white EVA foam midsole, creating a modern aesthetic. The thin black rubber outsole, rounded at the heel, completes the overall design. The Nike Air Max Pre-Day "Pure Platinum" was released in Spring 2021.
